The Psychology of Quarantine:

A recent meta analysis published in Lancet highlights some of the psychological aspects associated with COVID-19 quarantine. The analysis reports symptoms of post traumatic stress, increased frustration, stressors related to supplies, scarcity of information and financial burdens. Although the results show a toll on the psychological well being of patients, quarantine is very much necessary. Research suggests that patients must be reminded that their compassion and kindness during quarantine does not go unnoticed.
