Predictor of COVID-19 ICU Admission

According to a recent study from Italy, low serum vitamin D levels were found to be an independent risk factor for either developing respiratory distress and ICU admission or for nonsurvival, among patients infected with COVID-19. Although several other studies have produced similar results, the authors reminded the reader that, "correlation do not prove causation", and further studies are required to make that determination.
